On 8th October 2025 – Tiffany Vong

Describing herself as a ‘portfolio musician’ Tiffany took us on a journey of the various musical communities and personal friendships she has made along the way. Her career path is built on diverse yet complementary roles such as conducting, teaching, performing and producing new and exciting work. These roles complemented and merged to provide Tiffany with a truly unique musical talent.

We were delighted to have Tiffany Vong give her time and energy to provide us with well-prepared engaging, personal and wide-ranging talk for our first winter Zoom meeting. Tiffany managed to convey that her musical education has provided her with a deep understanding of the organ and harpsichord.

On 17th November – Church Glass of Karl Parsons

Sarah Lear conveyed her passion for the glass of Karl Parson by showing our group a wide selection of images from England, Scotland and Ireland.  Much interest was generated around our own Nativity window and its place within the Lady Chapel. Sarah described the influence that patrons had on the finished work, as well as describing the design and manufacturing process of within the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Our choir photograph from 1917 showed a GTS Reid so Sarah is now pursuing a possible connection with the James Reid of Aucherarder, to whom the Nativity window is dedicated.
